Our Mission
"Passionate Commitment to the Great Commandment and the
Great Commission growing a Great Church."
We exist to bring glory to God our Creator by introducing people
to Jesus Christ and lovingly welcoming them into the community
of believers. We will teach them the principles of life as
laid out in God's Holy Word, which leads them to be empowered
by the Holy Spirit to live the abundant life as promised by
Jesus. We will inspire them to experience the Gifts of God
given every believer to serve others, both in the body of Christ
and in a desperately needy world, thereby fulfilling the purpose
for which all humanity was created - to worship the one and
only true God of the universe.

Christ Centered: At Parkway, we believe Jesus
Christ is the foundation upon which to build a victorious
life and church.
He must be at the centre of all we do. His mandate
to preach the gospel and make disciples here at home and
around the
world is our mission.
Holy Spirit Led: At Parkway, we believe we
are only able to fulfill our calling as we are empowered
by the Holy Spirit.
We believe people will come to God and be changed only as
the Holy Spirit draws them. Therefore, through prayer we
will strive to create an atmosphere in which people will
not feel manipulated or coerced into making spiritual decisions.
We recognise and respect the power of choice God gave to
all of us and His ability to reveal His ways.
Unchanging Truth: At Parkway, we are committed
to the Bible. We will teach the unchanging truths of God's
written word
(The Bible) and His Living Word (Jesus Christ). We will dedicate
ourselves to becoming passionate followers of Jesus Christ,
being not only hearers of the truth, but doers of the truth.
Relevancy: At Parkway, we believe we are
called of God to reach the world of today with the relevant
message of His
love. We will strive to communicate the life of eternity
using the language of today. We will strive to answer the
questions of the day in a culturally relevant way through
interactive, open communication.
Caring for People: At Parkway, we realise
God has called us to care. We know we were created by God
for community.
We are committed to establishing and enhancing relationships that
encourage one another to grow in Christ and to discover our
God-given gifts so we can reach our full potential in God.
Heaven is Home: At Parkway, because we believe
this world is not our home but that our real home is in Heaven,
everything we
do is in the light of eternity. God loves everyone in this
world so much, His heart breaks at the thought of one person
missing Heaven. However, God makes it very clear that Heaven
is a prepared place for a prepared people. We are serious
about Christ's call for labourers to go out and bring in
the Harvest.
