Why do you worship like you do?
We like our worship to be
Biblically based. There's very little in our worship services that
you won't find Biblical precedent for.
For example:
Clapping: Ps.47:1, 98:8,
Isa.55:12
Raising our hands: Ps.63:4, 134:2,
ITim.2:8
Lots of singing: Col.3:16,
Eph.5:18-19
Audible spontaneous praise: Ps.34:1, 100:4,
150, Acts 4:24
What about "speaking in tongues"?
The New Testament is loaded with references to this supernatural, often misunderstood
phenomenon. We embrace and encourage its practice because we see it
so often in scripture.
Acts 2:4, 8:18, 9:17, 10:46, 19:6,
I Cor. 12:7&10, 14:2,4,5,14,18,22,39.
How are you funded?
Parkway Church relies solely on the donations of our congregation. We teach
the Biblical
principle of tithing and cheerful giving which scripture directly
links to experiencing God's great blessing in every area of our
lives.

Why do you pray for the sick and other needs?
We've found that prayer
works! God heals people! He transforms lives! Puts marriages back
together! Gives us wisdom! Cures addictions! It's more than likely
that the person you sat beside in church today has been a recipient
of a miracle, ask them!
